1. Introduction

Daar Digital Solutions SPC ("the Company", "we") respects the privacy of visitors to https://dds.om ("the Website") and of its clients. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use and protect it, and your rights — in line with Oman's Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree 6/2022) and its executive regulations.

2. Data we collect

  • Contact data you provide voluntarily: your name, email address, optional phone number, requested service and message content when you use the contact form or reach us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • Project and contract data: what is needed to prepare quotes, deliver services and issue invoices under an agreement.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser or User-Agent and submission time in server logs and the contact-form message, for security, abuse prevention and request evidence.
  • Local preferences: the Website stores your language preference and loading-screen state in your browser only (localStorage / sessionStorage). We do not use tracking cookies or advertising analytics.

3. Purposes of processing

  • Responding to inquiries and quote requests.
  • Providing services, performing contracts and managing billing.
  • Improving and securing the Website and services.
  • Meeting legal and regulatory obligations in the Sultanate of Oman.

4. WhatsApp Business communications

We may communicate with you through Meta Platforms' WhatsApp Business Platform if you message us first at +968 9367 8662 or give explicit consent to be contacted. You can opt out at any time by replying "STOP" or emailing info@dds.om. We only send marketing messages with prior opt-in consent.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as necessary with:

  • Hosting, cloud infrastructure and email-delivery providers that operate the Website, contact form and email.
  • Meta Platforms when you communicate with us on WhatsApp.
  • Public authorities where legally required.

The Website's fonts are self-hosted, so your browser does not contact an external font service. Some data may be processed by providers outside Oman; we work with providers that maintain appropriate protection standards.

6. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights and how to exercise them

Under Oman's Personal Data Protection Law you may withdraw consent; request access and a copy; correction, update or restriction; transfer to another controller; deletion; suspension of processing while a request is pending; and notification of a breach affecting your data. Submit a free written request to info@dds.om using the contact detail associated with the data. We decide the request within no more than 45 days. You may also use our Data Deletion Instructions and lodge a complaint with the competent department of Oman's Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology under the applicable procedure.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access restriction and backups — and review them regularly. If a breach requires notification, we notify the Ministry and the affected data subject as required by law and regulation.

9. Children

Our services are business-oriented; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without guardian consent.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will publish the updated version on this page with a new last-updated date.
